In a world full of Smart Phones, Smart TVs, Google Home and Alexa let’s face it, everyone

Deere equipment that you may not have known about.


John Deere's MowerPlus and TractorPlus Smart Connectors allow information from your John

Deere equipment to be transferred and viewed via Bluetooth to your smart phone or tablet

with the aid of John Deere's MowerPlus & TractorPlus Apps.



You can find and download these apps from the Google Play or iTunes App Store. Installing

the Smart Connectors on most compatible equipment is as simple as plugging the Smart

Connector into the Service Advisor Port or Wiring Harness on your equipment.


The apps when combined with the Smart Connectors have many useful tools at its disposal.

Each type of equipment will vary on the amount and specific type of information that will be

available but some of the examples that the Smart Connectors can show you would be -

access to owner’s manuals, service intervals, parts diagrams, engine hours, fuel level,

diagnostic codes and maintenance information complete with walk-through tips for your

equipment - just to name a few.


Not to mention on select Compact Tractors the Smart Connector can turn your Smartphone

into a live display for Real Time Equipment Status with live readouts. Ex. engine RPM’s, fuel

level, coolant temp, and load level.


Simple coverage mapping is another useful tool the Smart Connector offers. When using a

sprayer, plowing, or even mowing the phones GPS tracking provides you with information on

travel paths, speed, application coverage and more - saving you time, fuel and money.


Another handy tool on these Apps is access to equipment tips through the Frontier Tips

Notebook. This provides you with helpful tutorials on “How Toos” for your property. Ever

wonder how to grade your driveway to make it smooth again? Dig out that stump from the

tree you just took down? Use a Wood Chipper? The Tip Notebook can help with that along

with much more, all available at your fingertips.
