Connect Your Phone Audio, Via Bluetooth to Your Combine or Tractor's Bosch Radio

If you have ever struggled to connect your phone audio through Bluetooth to your radio you are not alone. The good news is there's a simple setting change in the radio that will enable both phone calls and audio streaming to function properly. Bosch Bluetooth radios commonly found in John Deere S-Series combines and 6R Series tractors have the default Bluetooth connection type set to BT PHONE. Pairing your phone with the radio with this setting will allow phone calls but not audio like music and podcasts. Changing the connection type to BT AUDIO will enable audio and still allow phone calls to function.

Changing the connection type from BT PHONE to BT AUDIO is simple. Press the MENU button until CON-TYPE is displayed. After a second, BT PHONE will be displayed. Turn the Volume Knob clockwise to change to BT AUDIO. Your radio will now play both phone calls and audio media from your phone.
